  1. Your hooked now, there's nothing you can do to spot it. Just let it happen.

  2. Yes, it does take a lot of time especially since you are new at it. It is exciting to go see what is out there. I found for me if I put myself on a time limit for certain things I am more apt to get off and come back the next day. Set priorities or you will never get your projects done.

  3. I know how you feel, I just started a month ago...Carrie P. is such an encouragement. I listen to whatever she says! Hang in there and good luck.

  4. I know what you mean, I think when starting you spend more time on the computer, figuring it all out. I only started at the end of last year, I think it will be better if I schedule my time.
I hope you get plenty of time to stitch.

  5. Welcome to bloggy world, you're going to LOVE it here! So much inspiration, you'll find it hard to make time for stitching. Enjoy, Amy!

  6. I have been doing this for a year and a few months... it has been soo much fun! I find that having just what you do on your sidebar with the blog list and knowing the most recent post times has helped immensely. I used to have to click on EVERY blog without a clue as to if they posted. This speeds up the process. I find I can keep it around 20-30 minutes a day if I keep up with blogs daily (I follow 97 blogs at the moment). Then again, I work on a computer and am always on it anyway.

    Welcome to blogland :o)

  9. Putting all the blogs you like to visit under "Blogs I'm Following" works very well. From your dashboard, you can check it once or twice a day and keep up with the latest postings and that way you are not bouncing in and out of blogs to see if they have posted anything new.

  10. I'm with Karen. I check mine from the dashboard. Sometimes that keeps me from bouncing around too much when I don't have a lot of time. But when I do have time, I just love jumping from one blog to another.

    Welcome to the new addiction.

  11. I hear ya...darn ole' blogs! But they have been a great source of inspiration for me and I have made some wonderful blogging friends. Soon you will figure out who's style you prefer or like and they quickly become favorites....and then you will add more quickly...at least this is what happened to me. I know I commented to you before about your doggie. Is she a Wheaton? I just have to know....adorable!

  12. How well I know what you mean, Amy. Today is my first day in Blogland and I'm finding it very hard to concentrate on anything else. I just love seeing what all you gals are creating as it is truly an inspiration. I am in complete awe over the needle case you're doing.
